Cherie attended the Ontario Veterinary College and graduated in 2000. She joined a busy practice in Ottawa where she developed an interest in orthopaedics. This naturally led to seeking certification in rehabilitative medicine at the Canine Rehabilitation institute in Florida in 2006. Cherie is now also CVPP certified as veterinary pain practitioner.
She enjoys family life with her husband and two children and at home is owned by Martha, a border terrier, and Chase, an Irish Wolfhound. In her spare time Cherie enjoys horseback riding, reading, and scuba diving.
